You can cancel from Dashboard → Plans & Billing at any time, without contacting us and without giving a reason. Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not end your access immediately — you keep the plan, and the credits already granted for that period, until the date shown on that page.
If you are on a recurring plan, cancelling also cancels the mandate with our payment provider, so nothing further can be debited from your card, UPI or bank account.
Write to contact@instoly.com with the payment reference. We aim to reply within 2 working days and to send the refund within 5 to 7 working days of approving it.
If you ask within 7 days of a payment and have used less than 10% of that period's DM & comment allowance, we refund that payment in full. We chose a usage threshold rather than a flat window because it is the only version of this rule that is fair in both directions — you can try the plan properly, and someone cannot send 25,000 DMs and then ask for their money back.
Beyond 7 days, or beyond that usage, a subscription payment is not refundable. You can still cancel, and you keep the rest of the period you paid for.
A yearly plan follows the same 7-day rule, measured from the payment. After that we do not refund the unused part of a year. Yearly is discounted precisely because it is committed up front; if you would rather keep the option to leave, the monthly plan exists for that.
Cancelling a yearly plan stops it renewing at the end of the term. Your access and your monthly credit allowance continue for the full year you paid for.
Credit packs are one-time purchases and the credits never expire. Because there is no period to be part-way through, the rule is simpler:
Refunds go back to the original payment method, through Razorpay. We cannot send a refund anywhere else — not to a different card, a different UPI id, or a bank transfer — because the money did not come from there and doing so is how refund fraud works.
Once we issue a refund it usually reaches you in 5 to 7 working days. The exact timing is set by your bank or card issuer and is outside our control.
If something looks wrong with a charge, please email us first. We would much rather refund you directly than have you raise a dispute with your bank — it is faster for you, and a disputed charge locks the amount for weeks while it is investigated.
Refunds, billing questions and anything on this page: contact@instoly.com. Include the payment reference from your receipt, which makes it a same-day answer rather than a back-and-forth.
